Hours:
In general, municipal offices are open Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm. Department hours do vary however. Please reference the department web page for their specific hours.
Recycling Services:
Recycling services are provided Wincycle at their location on River St. The Drop Off area is open to the public from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Most of the recycling services will be offered at NO CHARGE to the user. Some items, FREON containing devices, will require a recycling fee. Please see attendant for details. All fees will be collected in the WinCycle store.
Recyclables must be clean, caps removed and separated into mixed paper and containers. There is no charge to drop off mixed paper and containers for recycling.
- Mixed Paper: newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, paper bags, cereal boxes, cardboard, soft cover books, and hard cover books. If it rips, we'll take recycle it.
- Containers: glass, plastic (#1-#7), aluminum cans and foil, and steel cans
- Glass bottles and jars
- Plastic #1 - #7 bottles, jugs, and tubs. Must be a container.
- Aluminum soda cans, cat food cans, and foil wrap and/or plates
- Steel cans and lids
Appliances:
WinCycle also accepts appliances such as stoves, washing machines, dryers, and hot water heaters. There is no charge for these items.
Freon containing appliances such as refrigerators, dehumidifiers, water coolers and air conditioners will be accepted for recycling for a fee.
Fast Trash
Trash disposal services will be available on Saturday from 9:00AM - NOON. Disposal charges will be paid directly to the waste hauler.
